after Christmas we are gonna either start on the rebuild of our motor... or just purchase a complete used one. any one have a complete? or am i better off rebuilding mine? i am leaning towards just buying a used one! but i dont wanna buy a p.o.s

I say rebuild then you know everything is good if you get a used motor you have no clue
-
Ya i was thinking the same thing. Anyone know of.a good.shop around chino hills? I talked to house of engines in pomona. He said 1100 for everything from machine work .. to even oil and gaskets.

RUN johnny RUN $1100 :screwy:
On a hi perf build that will last a long time, a guy could spend that on just an oil pan and heads. Or just the heads O0
-
^^^^^^^^ What he said, that is toooo cheap :screwy:

Whatever you do dont take it to a "car guy". They say there all the same but there not. We rebuild 3-4 a year from car guys that lasted a couple hours and KABOOM. Most of them were completely destroyed and had to start from scratch with new everything.
