Title: Anybody in So Cal/Central Cal feel like hitting a lake this weekend?
Post by: Luckie Stiff on June 24, 2008, 08:35:48 PM: I think I've got the boat fairly dialed in, now I just need some water time, anyone want to meet up and hang out? Castaic? Buena Vista? San Antonio? Piru?

It was good from about 8AM to 11AM, then the wakebarges hit the water, I got air more than once, the final straw being when I speared a giant ass roller with the nose of the boat and got soaked, headed for the ramp at that point.
Going out tomorrow, weekdays are good.

I was out there Sunday from about 6:15 to 7:30, mostly at the dock looking at plugs and changing jets. The water was glass untill about 7:30 and then it started. Were you there Sat. or Sun?

Only if I'm fairly sure the boat's gonna break, it's a short row back to the ramp. Ming's just too damn small, and if there's more than 3 or 4 boats on the water it becomes a washing machine. I'm thinking about hitting the Kings River for a day sometime soon.
