I own a 1946 Willys. Flat fender with split window. All original except changed from 6 volt to 12 volt, suspension upgraded of course, new hubs and tires. It was my father's pride and joy. He found it in a barn out in the mountains whie hunting. Full of chicken poop and still had the original gas in it! No power steering so sometimes it takes all this 5 ft 90 lb female has got to turn tight corners but it's a pretty fun toy.
Just don't try to drive it on a freeway...other drivers don't appreciate doing a top speed of 45 to 50!!! Lol!!!

Been trying to get back into it, just have not found the right Jeep yet, they are either really pricey, totally beat to crap or total restoration projects...
Went to some Sierra lakes above Shaver lake last year and really want to go back, want to teach my boy how to live without a PS3.. ::)
Never saw that much granite before... :o

Dan,
if you are only going to do a 35, I would consider d44's instead of the 60's, pumpkins are smaller and will allow for a little more clearance. and the 44's are less expensive to aquire and build.
Your correct on the H3, that will just make it that much easier to drive over ;)

Already have the D60's w/4.56's, Gov locked rear. It should go well with the 465/205 combo I already run. I'm just concerned with an even shorter rear driveshaft.
And, well 44's break too easy, with my right foot, L79 would twist 'em up.
