Title: anyone know how much it would cost to have some rebuild my jet
Post by: havasudre on March 24, 2008, 02:31:19 PM
finally after working  on my  boat  for whole  year  i was  finaly able to have a  trouble free weekend

at the  end of  of the weekend i did   notice that   there is a little  water in the  oil  for the  jet .iTs a panther  jet  by the way

also  for  some reason  my boat will not  go into  reverse   like  it would before .IT backs up  but i  just have to  use  allot  more  throttle then before

I  took a gps with me the    i got my 24 ft s 1977  sleek craft to   a break  neck speed of 51 mph .I thought that was  pretty  good  considering   how heavy the boat is

24 ft jet = 51 mph . Not too shabby if you ask me . A rebuild never hurts though .

I would send tom a PM or call him, he gave me a very good price to refresh my Jacuzzi, I looked into the shipping and from Vegas to Toms it was only going to be $40 bucks each way and that included $11 for $1000 in insurance.

I am hoping it gets "LOST"! But no insurane and its only $30 each way.
