Title: Auto/Motorcycle enclosed transport
Post by: repoman on April 07, 2009, 05:42:58 PM
as many of you know i repo and impound cars.  i used to run a 2 car enclosed truck from portland to southern california area every week.

recently i came across a deal i really couldn't pass up.  a friend of mine is selling his 2 car enclosed trailer and im gonna pick it up.  so what this means is i could use some help getting me off the ground again.  i am planning on doing one trip per month just to make some extra scratch.

if anyone has any friends that need vehicles brought down for Portland or Seattle or something coming up i would really appreciate it!

also...if any scjb member need a car moved i would be willing to make some deals for them.  i can haul anything...bikes, cars, suv, small watercraft, couches ect.

let me know what your thoughts are...im not running yet but will be soon.

thanks,
mike

If you can load a jet boat with trailer, you might be on to something  ;D

Post on Craigslist also.

the inside width will not permit...but...since the trailer has a super high ceiling, i might be able to make a special ramp to put it in at an angle....just depends how much....another idea was to put the boat on a dolly...then the trailer at an angle or something.  not too sure as of now.  i always have the 3 car trailer i got rid of to my disposal.  that would do 3 boats ;D ;D ;D...craigslist is for people searching for deals...i charge 1000$ a spot.  2 down and 2 back.  900 for special peeps, and 800 for my regular customers and scjb.  the 800 quote is ONLY for people that move cars on a regular basis with me. unless scjb member needs a favor im here to help.   im not new to the business...nor getting loads...just letting the word out.  i have been out for about a year and its the perfect time to get back it.  i just need a truck...any dodge salesmen out there???? ;)

not at the moment but i think you would have too far of a commute...lol...i would check things out down there...try to get into voluntary repos.  there is no risk and its a day job.  pay is good if you can make good use of your time.  if you want to work nights then your gonna be sneaking around a lot.  dont believe the tv shows though...those guys get themselves into the trouble, not the job.  i have had 100 times more problems and confrontations with impounds then repos.  let me know if ya have any questions...
