Instead of setting on my a$$ and drinking beer tonite the wife "dragged"  ;) me to the movie theater to see Avatar , couldn't get in the 3d version so we settled for the 2D but WOW It will change how this type of movie is made for a long Time to come , A must see Tom

Just got back from seeing Sherlock Holmes  :thumbup:

Might have to go check out Avatar now that we got a  :thumbup: from our own critic  ;D

I was hoping both of these movies totally sucked so I could wait for them to come out on DVD...Thanks a lot. :mad:

I'm not a big fan of "going" to the movies, I'm normally happy seeing them on TV.

But, I've been waiting for the Sherlock Holmes flik to come out.  :thumbup:

They also left it wide open for a second one  ;D

Funny we all (so far) Have similar feelings about Theaters , not to steer the thread in a different direction but Crowded indoor places creep me put not to mention taking me out of my "comfort zone" I use the excuse that I got a big screen and surround sound , my minibar and everything I need in my family room soooo why crown it with a bunch of coughing sneezing folks I don't know ?? But the other side is that Ya just gottta get out from time to time Plus I got rewarded at a new Mexi restaurant with a killer Combo plate for my efforts  ;) Tom

re Avatar I own about 100 dvd's and although we very seldom watch them a second or third time I will buy this one and likley watch it again

wifes got over 700 dvds and i might have seen 100 that eqates to alot of boat parts :banghead: :banghead:

I dont know what it is about this damn movie, but so far EVERYONE says the same thing.!!
Guess i got to go see it too. (I was planning on Sherlock Holmes already, but not Avatar)

Saw it 2D a couple of days ago.

I just got home from seeing AVATAR in "IMAX 3D"  WOW was I surprised the sound was awesome , felt like I could reach out and touch the object.! Now I want to see more movies in 3D !!    :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

At this point Having seen this (as said)  in two D , I'm prolly not patient enough to sit thru it again and will wait for the DVD side they dont serve Beer in the theaters  Tom

when i lived off of blue diamond....on a friday i could sit there and watch limo after limo going to parhump...... :thumbup:....i mean why else would a limo be going to parhump on a friday/saturday? anybody?

It's been a while but last time I was at the Riverside I was able to grab a beer with my movie. ;D

Stopped in one this one time coming back from the dunes i had to....i really wanted to get a shirt and a menu, but they were out of both so i left...almost erie....the one my buddy and his now ex wife used to goto and have dinner....he lived in parhump....said they had killer prime rib....that couldnt be so bad staring at a piece of ass while eating prime rib....brad wanna goto dinner  ;)

what were we talking about again?
