Title: avi question
Post by: JacksEliminator on March 26, 2014, 08:56:33 AM
I have stayed at the avi before but have never launched from there. I always head to and launch from Jack Smith Marina. My question is can I boat from avi all the way to jack smith with no problem or is it pretty shallow there?

Yes you can get from the Avi to Jack smith on boat, there might be spots that get a little shallow but just watch out. Ive gone from the Avi all the way down to pirates cove and back to the avi SUPER fun ride!!

i take my 22ft whacker boat from havasu to laughlin all the time. if you are in a jet boat you will be fine. stay to the left once you pass willow valley going south. stay left center once you go under the avi bridge going south.

if it aint sticking out of the water dont worry about it. LOL

Keep throttle pinned, hug the AZ side here and there.
