Well, saw the Dr. about my MRI results. L4-L5 disc is severly herniated and pressing on the nerves for left leg. He is refering me to a Neurosurgeon for further evaluation for surgery. Not looking good, which is kinda funny since I'm pretty mobile again although I do have numbness in left big toe and heal. I'm going to try and put off surgery as long as I can since I'm trying to promote at work. Should hopefully be getting a interview soon. Anyway, as things sit I should still be up and running for the Lower River Rendezvous!!!

good luck with everything

Thanks bro, I'm really stressing because I'll be off for like 4 months or more. I have disability insurance through work which will help but I will lose senority and my health insurance will likely drop unless I save up enough leave time to keep it going.

by the way, how are your legs doing?

im geting around now back to work light duty for now thanks for asking

My mom fought the same thing, getting progressively worse. Finally, there was a clunk in her back and what looked like worms under her skin Her L4 disk slipped allowing only 4mm out of the 17mm it is supposed to have for her spinal cord. During emergency non both legs. During surgery, the doctors refused to believe she was still walking. She was maybe a week from being permanently paralized.
If you do wait, make sure you keep a close eye on it.
Good luck.
BTW - My mom put off surgery for over 10 years.
