Title: Basic transportation (car shopping tomorrow)
Post by: zudnic on May 30, 2009, 08:35:58 PM
Need something to replace my Mercedes 500SL for basic transportation duties. Need to drive up into Kelowna B.C area once a month, maybe twice. Couple of Seattle trips. Vancouver once or twice per week (45 minute no traffic drive). I'm bored with European cars, besides Mercedes, 3 series BMW's and a couple of Porsche 944s including two turbo's, etcetera. Kept my 04 Ford Ranger for short trip boat towing. Want simple inexpensive to buy and maintain, plus it must look good. Company pays for gas--huge bonus cause its expensive $1.23 per liter 94 octane super though.
Thinking these as viable transportation and probably resell it for what I pay for it latter on (huge bonus):
Nothing says pussy magnet like red interior and t tops ! ;)

Worked for a exotic used car dealer--near new Mercedes, Jaguars, BMW's, Porsche's mostly with a couple Ferrari's, Rolls Royce's and a Lamborghini or two for kicks! Tough meeting girls with those cars--at least ones worth dating.
My best pussy magnet(s) thus far; toss up between boat, former 1977 F250 4X4 factory high boy beat up sh@t box and 1971 Ghia coupe $300 bought as a project barely drivable bondo on front fender sh@t box.................
So yeah, I'm expecting a little more pussy magnet and inexpensive fun transportation. 1991 500SL @ Starbucks: "your drink Sir!" Even my 04 Ranger work truck--off road work on a mountain with dirt roads so banged up pretty good and pretty much caked in mud. They'll treat me more normal and start conversations "flirt"---even dated two!
Thinking mid seventies Vette as well or even another high boy. Something that looks good under $10,000 U.S and is mechanically simple too work on.

Test drove a couple Camaro's on Sunday-- They don't drive as good as I remember, handling wise. But still look good on the road.
