Title: Bassett valve

Do u have to have a bassett valve in your boat

If you are running headers with water injection it is the simplest way to regulate the water flow.  You can run a water line with a ball valve up to the driver seat and plan on operating it "as needed", but you will forget to turn it on or off at times and that's when you'll wish you went with the Bassett valve.

Options:   You can install a Banderlog electronic control valve to operate the water flow or you can just run the headers dry.  Both of these options have drawbacks that you might want to spend some time researching before you make a choice.
