So I bought a intake a little while ago and didn't realize there were different ones for different hull bottoms.where my intake goes is completely flat did I buy the wring one or will it work.
-
That is for a rounded keel, you likely have a delta pad bottom.
Decision time. To make that intake fit, you will be doing quite a lot of glass work to round the keel. Yes, looks to me you may have bought the wrong one.
What you need is a flat intake.

Work with me here Glen....
Some of these intakes have a flat flange with the rounded entry....which is what this one looks like
Couldnt he effectively set it and the rounded entry would lay proud of his flat entry.
A little wooden filler and some glass work to make a round entry ?

Why do all that work? Just sell that one and get the right one?

Never said it couldn't be done... ;)
The issue is that to get the intake to set low enough in the hull, you would have to round out bot the leading edge and the trailing edge in order to get the rounded portion to "drop" enough to make everything work right, otherwise, the intake will be too high in the hull making it difficult to load. You would actually have easier success making a flat intake work in a rounded keel hull.
You may find the amount of work will reduce exponentially with the right intake. That is all I was saying.
Now if you go balls deep setback, getting the hand-hole outside the transom, the work will be about half. But still potentially making it more than you want.
Nothing is impossible, just takes time and money. How much do you have? that is your answer. 8)
