What a cool ad... never seen that one before. I'm pretty sure the plates are up too high, 'cuz the pics I have of it on plane show the bow up a tad high. It's just like clockwork... when you're doing around 35 or 40 and open the secondaries, it's just like a slipping clutch. It's nice to know the engine is putting out plenty of power, I can't wait to actually APPLY it to the water!
Turning this one at speed is a trip too. In the Advantage, when you turn, it's relatively flat. In THIS, when you turn, it leans into the turn like a motorcycle. I can see where it would be a REAL PIA to turn without the turning fin, As it is, it's kinda fun to bank into the turn and feel the transom drop.
