I just got off the phone with the owner patrick and he said he was baffled and never seen anything like this happen he also said the only other thing that happend similar to this was a guy with a sunbrella cover which is already water proof the guy applied more water proofer and the material from the cover had bleed blue dye onto the seats but thats not the case for me my cover is blue and the spots are redish

Damn that is pretty damn scary! The wheel is real bad!

But thats awesome for Boat Bling to stand behind their product. I have heard only good things about them and the owner.

Ive had that same thing appear on white upholstry (pink stain) after using castrol super kleen on "seasoned vinyl" always on the top horizontal surfaces ,in my case it eventually went away after exposure to the sun ! Tom

That's crazy! Must be something in there that is photosensitive, a little scary if you think about it. Is there any way it could have reacted with some other chemicals in the vinyl? This makes me think of that invisible ink thing, (salt reacts with acids), wierd :screwy:

Glad it reversed itself though... ;D

interesting that Patrick said he called the only other case that had a problem with the vinyl sauce. i didnt hear from him. it dried out and ruined my interior, and all he did was send me 5 bottles of hot sauce for free because i said the it wirked well. now, granted my interior is original to the boat, (1978) but it was in perfect condition, always covered and garaged. im sorry to hear that it messed up your new ride
