I'm looking to buy a bimini top. I'm curious to see what height top everyone is using and opinions on what would look good on my boat. Thanks in advance.

If I were you I'd sit in the boat and measure up to where you want it and get one made. American canvas did mine, made it kind of low profile for looks

You will end up around the 67-72" width on average jetboat but depends on mounting area desired... The height can be a regular fit at first. Once you sit while its open... cut off each tube at end with a pipe cutter to fit. I cut each tube about 7". While open its just over 2' tall. I installed two sets of mounts. One for while in use an the other for in tow. Quick detach mounts are available. This is right after I installed mine after cutting the ends. I gave mine a slight rake which helps a bit on the parachute affect. If you do cut try a small cut first as geometry will change greatly.

I haven't quite figured out how to mount a Bimini on mine since I don't have a flat surface to mount to

Go online an do a search for bimini mounting hardware. Lots of options. Side mounts might be the best style for you...

Like on the inside of the gunnel?

This is my 46 inch it's to tall. I think 40 would be good. My wife likes it this tall because it's easy to move around in the boat. Are last boat had a low pro one and she didn't like getting in and out. So I got a cheap 100$ eBay one.

You could do that to... But then you might be at the smallest bimini width size 61-66'. The newer quick detach mounts are fairly slim. Having the toe into the mounts looks better than toeing out.

Whittier isn't to far from A-1 Marine in Fullerton.
Take it to Raul, he'll set you up.

Be careful at A1 he wanted to charge me 900 bones to do the carpet in my boat. He said cause it was a tunnel hull and all the valleys would be an extra 300 dollars for labor. Ended up getting my carpet done for 300$. Just a heads up
