« on: June 30, 2010, 06:19:07 PM »
Did any one find an anchor and sandspike?? my float ball was a tetherball....  I finally got the boat out today to clean her up and change the starter for our departure to the river tomorow and looked where the anchor should have been and found this instead.

im pretty sure I pulled it to take nicks buddy's ice chest up to the sand bar.... so it was on the beach

Did I ever tell the story of the aluminum cans causing a fire on a houseboat?   Cans conduct DC voltage very well brother, look at what battery terminal the cans are near and look what they are leaning against....I would call that a close one for the record.

Please be careful out there guys....No more IRREBEL threads with flamed boats with real smoke and heat.

I didn't find anything.

What the hell am I naming now???  :sly:

LMAO, I learned my lesson VERY WELL about leaky tanks, exposed batteries, etc.etc...Listen to Glenn. I've sidelined Pickle because I realized it had no battery hold down whatsoever, and at Mead, found out the fill necks were garbage.......Fixed the necks, and Just got a battery tray from Jason, so until that gets installed, it's benched.
