Title: Black or Dark Gray carpet

Ok, im finally at the point that im going to get carpet for the Weiman. I really want Black carpet but im worried about it getting to hot in the sun. so my second choice would be a dark gray.

Since i dont plan on keeping this hull forever im going with Indoor/Outdoor carpet from home depot. Also what glue do you recommend? I looked at some they have there and there was one 6700 or something like that. Said on it that its extremely water resistant after it has fully cured

I am going to be using the grey in my boat. It looks pretty good. I use this heavy duty headliner and carpet adhesive for my carpet. I used it in my other boat and it worked great. It comes in an aerosol can. I think I bought it at auto zone

The black is not much different from the gray I have had both.  I use the spray 3M 90 works fine just does not like fuel long term.  Lay a grey shirt out and a black one for a couple hours in the sun not much temp differences. :thumbup:

5 cans for complete boat. Spray both the boat and the carpet

3m 90 is sold at Home Depot don't use the 80 it doesn't work.

Jimpen check out J&J fabric in Rialto the have good marine carpet for good prices and they have dan tack spray adhesive the stuff holds good !
