Title: boat has been sitting for 4 months

the motor was rebuilt six months ago if that helps at all

Post by: UNDONE on March 16, 2008, 06:36:40 PM: change the oil. Take the distributor off and spin the gear to start some oil flowing before starting it. Drain your old gas and put new gas in.

4 mounths is not that long you'll be all right

Post by: The Chaz on March 16, 2008, 10:17:19 PM: If you run high compression you should change the gas. Be a bad thing if you got detonation from old low octane gas. If you run 9 or 9.5:1 I don't think there would be an issue if it was filled with 91 octane gas 4 months ago.

i have replaced everthing carb alt. starter i even got a new hei dist. so i think im ready this year once and for all
