Title: boat has been sitting for 4 months

what should i  do before i put it on  the water
the motor was rebuilt  six months ago  if that  helps at  all

change the oil. Take the distributor off and spin the gear to start some oil flowing before starting it. Drain your old gas and put new gas in.

4 mounths is not that long you'll be all right

If you run high compression you should change the gas.  Be a bad thing if you got detonation from old low octane gas.  If you run 9 or 9.5:1 I don't think there would be an issue if it was filled with 91 octane gas 4 months ago.

well i emptied both tanks  ill posting pics and vids  from havasu  on monday as long as the boat  runs
i have replaced everthing  carb alt.  starter  i  even   got a new hei dist. so i think im ready this year once and for all
