I lease a building with a friend here in Bullhead, it's very nice to get out of the garage and to a place dedicated for working on projects. Just blast some music, and wrench, and don't have to worry about making too much noise at any time of night. Also it's nice when friends have a collection of tools together and have anything they need for the job at their disposal. On the downside if you go in it with too many people, there's going to be left over messes, tools could be misplaced, and most of the time the building will get filled with projects that don't get enough time being worked on to finish. If you are going to do it I would only go in it with another friend, or 2 at the most, otherwise it just becomes a headache. I also probably spend close to my half of the rent on supplies, when there's multiple people sharing a building you need a way to see who restocks supplies like towels, sand paper, grinding disc, welding wire, gas's, paint/primers, cleaning supplies etc.
