I live in East San Diego, CA. I am looking for a nice place to store my boat. I want it to be secure and safe. Just wondering where some of you guys are storing yours (besides your homes). Ive looked on craigslist and there doesnt really seem to be anything. So let me know some ideas!

I leave mine at the river it's in a 12x30 storage 24hr security and my unit has a alarm. 140 a month and it's less wear and rear on the truck and saves 1hr ea way towing.

F**k now that I read this add I'm wondering...140 bucks a month for 12x30 storage unit is a lot of money. I park my 10x51 trailer that I use for my business for 90 bucks a month in Murrieta. Gated, cameras, dogs...is it me or is 12x30 for 140 a month a lot of money??? Why cause it's directly next to the water? If it is...savages!!!

I don't think it's a lot of money at all. There are storage units by me in Ontario that are going for $250 and up for a enclosed and covered unit thy size. Is your trailer in an covered outdoor spot, not in an enclosed unit with a lock? Cause $90 for that seems right not for a enclosed unit!!!

Same here boat is stored out at the river in an enclosed unit with electricity so I keep tenders on the batteries and the boat is always ready to go. But i store mine in needles. I pay 145 a month and it worth it boat sat out there all winter I went out there a couple weeks ago opened the unit took the cover off the boat and she looked just as pretty as the day I parked her ;D

these are 12x30 enclosed units with gated alarm and alarm on units and a 24 hour person on site. And for 50 bucks more a month to not tow the boat back and fourth is worth it to me not only on gas but also wear and tear. I save 120 a trip by leaving it there just on gas for my truck

hahahha that's a good idea. Not sure what river you go to but for me to get to the river it's 2.5hrs not towing so u could always go out Saturday morning and drive home that night or stay 1 night. Ben lives in San Diego and I think he makes it 2/2.5hrs to Blythe not towing.

Yes it is uncovered. It's only a flat bed trailer. Wow I guess the 140 isn't that bad then.

I have my boat at Alotta Storage in Blythe also. Currently paying $160 for the 30ft enclosed unit. When I signed up last year, he gave me 20% off for the 1st 6 months, so it was only $120 until Nov or Dec.
I also had my toyhauler there in an covered outside spot. $70 a month, and same 20% discount at first so started at $50.
its a pretty nice place and I feel like my stuff is safe, but i still put a couple locks on everything just in case. And everything is INSURED!

you should let your insurance company know. I told them the boat is stored in Blythe and not where I leave it and my yearly rate dropped 40 bucks
