Title: Boating accident at El cap
Post by: Ridindirty89 on July 31, 2014, 08:50:04 PM
News is saying there was 2 boats that collided at El cap. Killing one and another had to had cpr. Not sure on all the details, so I don't want to day to much but that's horrible. Crazy to think how fast a fun day on the lake can turn into the worst day of your life. Makes you think about the river too, and how lucky all of us are to make it home after each trip. Man, prayers to their families and to any of you who may have known them!

Sad news. Life's a fragile thing that's for sure.

Be safe out there.

Damn, such a bad way to go out. I couldn't imagine. If you wouldn't mind, if you hear anything else from your buddy,  keep us posted. Curious to hear how this all played out. Sad.

one of my co worker friends was out at lake mead last week decided t swim to shore from the boat no one paid attention to him and he drowned. one of the girls on a jet ski with them said she heard someone yell help but didn't look around just kept cruising no one realized he was gone. the rangers found him 13 feet from shore. loss of life because of not paying attention is sad. that's why my boat is a no alcohol vehicle
