I just re and re,d my boiler with a newer version of my existing boiler.its a Laars Mini therm 2 with electronic ignition and an automatic damper.I have it installed and wired and when I turn up a thermosat the zone valve opens , the automatic damper opens and the circulation pump comes on ,but the boiler does not attempt to light. this is the same boiler as I had before so it is puzzling me what is wrong .Its minus 20 her tonight with a 25 mph wind blowing out of the north and this is day 5 with only a wood fireplace and a gas log fireplace for heat .Any ideas, anybody wants to make a house call . thanks guys

Second,
Check the terminal board wiring on the wiring diagram for an interlock for either a low water cut off or a time clock input and make sure they are jumpered or the control is closed.
I am looking up the O and M right now for it... ;)

Did you bleed the gas line of any air? Do you have gas at the main line going in?
It almost sounds like a rollout switch is open, this should be a manual reset switch with two terminals and a little chicken shit red button on it...

For the hell of it, put a jumper wire across "R" and "W"...

thanks Glenn I have narrowed the problem down to the automatic damper. it came with a premade harness which was straight forward but there was another plug inside with a purple ,yellow, and black wire init there was a jumper across 2 of the wires and a tag attached saying when using the damper disconnect the jumper. there is no where within the length of the wires in the plug to plug it in but if I put the jumper back in the boiler lights.hmmmmmmm

problem solved according to tech bulliten #1077 (which I didnt have ) in my application the jumper wire stays in place , figured it out by trial and error and my trusty meter
