Sys......worth it or not/any difference(performance)or not? I am currently un-employed so I don't have shit loads a money...just wanted to upgrade a bit....Whats your take brother???  Thanks....Tracy

If it's my opinion you want, I like the Pertronix retrofit kits, I have put in literally dozens of them and they are pretty tough and simple to install..

They do offer a performance gain by providing a hotter spark because of the "digital" signal they can provide, the points and condenser have more of an analog signal, this is the reason the dual point Mallery dizzy were so popular, the Pertronics kit is a step above a dual point IMHO...Also less money than the Uni lite...

Now if you are talking about the Pertronics Flame thrower II system, I have only gotten the opportunity to dilly around with one an a boat we had for about a month, seemed to be pretty nice stuff, but noticeably less quality than the MSD Billet stuff, but quite a bit less dough....

I just got an Ignitor III and it has a built in user adjustable rev limiter, I'm going to put it in my buddies deck boat this weekend, let you know how that one flies.

Hope I was able to answer your question... :-\ Thanks for asking my opinion,  means a lot. ;)
