Title: California VS Texas
Post by: Nordie on May 25, 2010, 04:53:37 PM
California vs. Texas

Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks his dog.

 California :

 1. Governor starts to intervene, reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realizes he should stop; the coyote is only doing what is natural.

 2. He calls animal control. Animal control captures coyote and spends $200 testing it for diseases and $500 upon relocating it.

 3. He calls veterinarian. Vet collects dead dog and spends $200 testing it for diseases.

 4. Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for  diseases from the coyote and on getting bite wound bandaged.

 5. Running trail gets shut down for 6 months while wildlife services conduct a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is clear of  dangerous animals.

 6. Governor spends $50,000 of state funds implementing a "coyote awareness" program for residents of the area.

 7. State legislature spends $2 million investigating how to better handle rabies and how to possibly eradicate the disease.

 8. Governor's security agent is fired for not stopping the attack and for letting the Governor intervene.

 9. Cost: $75,000 to train new security agent.

 10. PETA protests the coyote relocation and files suit against the state.

 Texas :

 1. Governor shoots coyote and keeps jogging. Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge. Buzzards eat dead coyote.

Any wonder why California is broke?

Hmmm Lemme think about this. We will just hit the lake things and things that effect us as boat owners this round.

1. In California women get sex offender criminal records for going topless In Texas they get a big thumbs up from the lake police.

2. In California you get speeding tickets on the lake! In Texas the cops wants to know if urs is faster than his.

3. In California they stop you cause your boat is too LOUD? In Texas once again THUMBS UP!

That is all I have for now!

Understand, Cali is the land of the Double Standard, Double Jeopardy, Double the cost, Stunt doubles, Double indemnity, etc, etc, etc.

Consider this, that if you throw your boobies out on CAMERA, it's considered acting, home of all Porn and rated R movies.......But off camera, it's a felony..... Go figure......... :screwy:

As a former temporary texican... I can assure that in my many weekends spent on Texoma the only boobs I saw were HUGE I mean they would have been on the ground if it weren't for her belly and the boats were only fast by comaprison to other boats on Texoma... And I do mean all of that with all do respect.

I can argue both points, even speaking strictly on Texoma.....

The chicks showing boobs here only get in trouble IF someone complains.

And from alot of family in texas the quality of boobs in texas can't even begin to compare to the quality of boobs here in california!

Yeah, it can get REAL crazy at times. Majority of the boats in the aerial shot are 40' $$$$$ yachts....  :o

I can count the number of real jet boats that I have seen on Lake Travis on one hand. If you count the new "sport jets" there are a couple. I havent even found anyone in Austin to work on a pump.

Head north to Kopperl and you will find Garry Snow, aka Snowman. One of the 4 guys in the country that helped develop the Hi-Helix Impeller, so he knows his stuff.

Jonestown is small and it is one cove. We anchored just outside their city limits Friday night and 15 boats played the same music ALL night at ridiculous volumes  pointed towards the cove.from 10 pm till 8 am. The cove consist of high rock cliffs so it echoed EVERYWHERE. We have a meeting with the city council next week. We were loud enough to shake homes in the entire cove all night. They are ready to cry uncle and negotiate. The ordinance will be changed to a 10 pm -8 am ordinance. They can not enforce the ordinance outside their city limits and the other law agencies will not help them. They figured out real fast that a city ordinance only works in their city.

Why would they buy houses near party cove if they don't like to party... lol

That's why I like tuxedo t-shirts, because they say I want to look formal, but I'm also here to party.
