Can't sleep. Just ordered two red koozies ;D also paid for some parts I bought. I'm seriously thinking of selling some of my Steelers memorabilia (got some auto'd football cards, bradshaw, stallworth, harris etc.) to get the $ to finish my boat. This is kinda crappy timing. Best time to sell the stuff is at the start of football season. But I really want to get my boat on the water. I hate to sell that stuff because I got more than $2k worth of stuff and I know I'll want to replace it later. Can't make up my mind. :banghead:

Why and how did you end up with a bunch of 70's Steelers stuff? Just curious.....

Put it on Craig's list Pittsburgh listings and if it's worth anything you'll get a bite, What all do you have? I may be or know someone that's interested. RR

I was thinkin the same about my Giants stuff, need to wait till season...

If you wait till "Season" most those buyers are season collectors, Meaning they want shirts and memorabilia from who's hot at that exact time/season. Full time collectors will be who's interested in that old stuff have no season, there full time and will give full amount for it, You need money now, You post now if you don't get what you want then try later and get your money later, I'm not one to put off till tomorrow when you can try today. I love the Steelers. Since 1974!!! Got bit by the collecting bug in 96.

Thanks Roy, the more I think about it the more I want to sell it and finish my boat. I have a Bradshaw 71 Rookie card, two auto'd Bradshaw cards, Stallworth auto'd card, Harris auto'd card, Greene auto'd card, plus a lot of newer steelers auto'd cards, Mark Bruener, Casey Hampton Rookie auto'd and numbered to 50, Bettis jersey cards plus a Bettis card with piece of 3 Rivers Stadium seat on it. I got several thousand in cards. Plus got this cool glass plaque for Bradshaw with a piece of jersey and numbered. Comes in a really nice case.

I copied and e-mailed your list to 2 friends of mine that might be interested, But I won't be back from the river till next Tuesday so If you can sale, Sell.
To be honest I'm sitting in #-57 S-a-m D-a-v-i-s old house, He kinda made a few investment mistakes and lost his/this old farm house to a Tax sale when he was 1/2 done remodeling it, The bad people he owed money to beat him into a coma here, He never was the same when he came out, Now begs for handouts and lives in a 1/2 way house on the South Side Of Pittsburgh last I heard, 2 or 3 years ago. 10 years ago he would sometimes wear a torn/worn out full length fur coat he bought when rich/famous well begging, Sad. But there where others who would of bought it and I had nothing to do with his downfall, His daughter stops here every other year or so to remember child hood memories, cool listening to her stories of how the whole super bowl winning team use to party HARD here. So I just interested in his stuff but good luck with the sales. Have fun.. RR
