Confirmed with a former employee of HB. You will not be getting anymore magazines or even a credit. Apparently, the new owner stole all the money and stiffed everyone.

I used to get it a long time ago when it was all about jets, vdrives, and small daycruisers. Then they went after the offshore market and I quit buying it. I think it used to be dragboat illistrated when I first got it then switched to hotboat shortly after.

Word has it that the gentelman who owned Hot Boat became very ill with cancer and left his minions to run the show - they did a lousy job and the thing tanked. Meanwhile his brother started Performance Boat, which is up and running. Some of the writers, etc. have gone over to this puplication, so it looks like it will be a good replacement for H/B. My understanding is that you will get a magazine, plus one online.

Sounds like it is worth checking out.

FYI - I own  my domain - which means I can easily create an email addy for every site I join.

Here, it is scjb(deleteme) at brnasi.com - and at hotboat it was hotboat@brnasi.com

I am now getting a ton of spam to my hotboat@brnasi.com, so they obviously sold thier sign up list to the highest bidder.

Just thought I'd let you know that more spam is coming your way!
