I have the old hand throttle only operating the fwd and reverse. It used to operate both but I re-routed the throttle cable in the assembly to a foot throttle. GT elaborated on why it is the way it is. Stick or go to a foot throttle.

okay thanks guys, i will just keep it. im still looking for an engine, i may have on this week but i should have the Tahiti day cruiser ready soon. I heard there nice driving boats and that the day cruiser was a full stringer. cant wait for proving grounds at lake Hodges and then off the AZ to Martinez. Yeah!

Mine has one from the factory. I would have already put a foot pedal in it, but its wrong hand drive, and it would be uncomfortable.
