Welp...I past my test yesterday and now have my  Class A CDL here in Missouri. Another tool to have in the tool box and should open up some doors If the opportunity presents itself

Congrats. Definitely a hurdle to get over that could lead to more opportunities. What direction are you looking to go with it?

Thanks guys. I appreciate it!! And right now I just needed it to be legal so I could haul around our equipment at work. But I figured I might as well go all the way and get my air brakes and all while I was at it. Our sister company has a dump truck and we use alot of rock so that was another reason. And if I ever leave this job it just leaves me more opportunities. I wouldnt mind driving a dump truck if the opportunity presented itself. But who knows what the future will hold

I got mine at 18- (1988)
I let it go in 2002, didn't need it anymore.
My pops taught me on a 5&3, and still have my '59 Pete, 262 (warmed over), with a 5&4.

up here it's called a Class 3 with 'Q' endorsement (air brake)
i drove tandem axel dump truck for 10+ yrs and loved it
great job
