I had Verizon which was very reliable but a little spendy. I am with T-Moblie and am very happy except I had to sign a 2-year contract but as long as the service is good I don't mind. I got 2 very nice phones for free as well. I have 1000 anytime with free evening and weekends and mobile tomobile for $69.99. I think they are offering even better plans now.
Cingular sucks up here in the Valley

I use my cell phones A LOT.
I currently have Sprint for my personal cell phone and I have been waiting for 23 months to get rid of it. One month to go and it's gone. A LOT of dropped calls, incorrect billing almost every month for the first year, and consistant and persistant screw ups by Sprint on my service plan (adding/deleting text messages, 7 PM vs. 9 PM free call time start, etc...). "For english please press 1" really pisses me off. >:(
I currently use Cingular for my work cell phone. Never a dropped call. Gets service where my Verizon phone did not get service. (Computer voice) "Hi, thank you for calling Cingular, I'd like to assist you so you'll need to let me know why you're calling, say current bill, say current minutes used, etc..." I say "current minutes used", computer voice says " so I say "current minutes used", computer voice says "I'm sorry, I didn't understand that, would ypu please say say current bill, say current minutes used, etc...", "I'd like to assist you so you'll need to let me know why you're calling, say current bill, say current minutes used, etc..." so I say "current minutes used" and the computer voice says "I'm sorry I didn't understand that, let me get an operator to assist you". >:(
I had Verizon 2 years ago and I am going back to Verizon for my persoanl cell phone. BTW, I love it when my friends tell me how great Sprint is even though they rarely use the phone compared to me, hell they'll even tell me how great Sprint is after calling me back because we got a dropped call. ???

sprint, 1,000 min shared between 2 phones 86 bucks a month no probs almost 4 years.

Verizon was by far the best deal and service I'd ever had. I thought I'd try somehting new (big mistake) and go with Sprint. I have 2100 shared mins between two phones. The service might suck balls but at least the bills are really high.
Can't wait to change back.

I have a Sprint/Nextel hybrid. Nextel was great before Sprint got involved, now my Nextel service is marginal and my Sprint phone service isn't much better. Most of the time I can't get a signal at the river but my wife can on her regular Sprint phone ??? >:(

Ok so heres my story:
Went into a MCI Worldcom Store(remember them?)
Bought a phone, signed up for a plan(They resold ATT service)
That was in 1999.
MCI went bust, ATT started managing the accounts.
Cingular merged with ATT, changed the name.
Now its ATT again!
All that was in the OC. Had pretty decent service down there except for on El Toro Road up in Lake Forest. Now I am in Vegas for the last 3 years and the service gets better all the time, only drops calls in elevators. Have had a few problems with them in the last 8 years but usually all I have to do is remind them how long I have been a customer and how easy it would be to change and pay there stupid $175 early term fee(I pay 150 a month) and it becomes "yes sir, let me take care of that for you".
So I probably wont change unless the really "F" something up.

I've had Nextel service for about 8 years now and since sprint got involved it has gotten worse . Thats why I'm planning on the change (Actually I already changed) A freind of mine who has a relative that works for Nextel say that the shitty phones are the reason for the dropped calls and so on . "So get a better phone " she says . YEAH ! I'm gonna go spend a couple hundy on a freakin phone when I got a race motor amongst other things to build. DUMBASS !

Since we're not standing next to each other (out of arm's reach ;) ) you ARE A ______! I've had more than one Sprint phone these last two years, actually I've had 4 of them, and don't even go to the "you buy them used" thing either because I paid over $200 for one of them brand new, you and I have had multiple conversations where we get dropped calls, not every Sprint phone I've ever had is a bad phone, don't be stupid, I've had every cell provider there is except for T-Mobile and Sprint S U K S when compared to ANY other provider!!!!!! You never use your phone!!!! ??? !!

That should get my point across. Moved back to Verizon. ;) Cheaper, better service (i.e.: less dropped calls), and I upgraded it to Navigation which means I now have two navigation systems and I have absolutely no idea how to operate either one. ??? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I still have a free nextel through work . Since my original number was also through nextel , I decided to keep the number and went with HELIO. Nothing but impressed.
