I literally "live" with my cell due to the requirements of my work , I've owned dozens of phones over the years , my Palm treo is a real work horse and has worked well for years I like it because its larger and feels more like a desk set vs a itty bitty thing . Theres so many phones out there I don't have a clue as to whats good and what sucks (I dont text and I dont need I'net acess ? Any one have any Favs ? tom

I like my iPhone. I'm sorta of copying you, but more resale of turnkey boat oriented. So I've gone boat shopping and the map/GPS app is helpful. My phone is also a U.S based cell and moving to Canada, well the roaming charges get a little high. Have not done it yet, but with the wifi can use Skype on the phone instead of AT&T's networks. Great if your in hotels or my Canadian house and office network. And also have a B.C skype number cell. The camera and video recording is pretty good.

I'm 90% phone talking, 8% text messaging, 2% pictures. Have had 6 phones or so.
Still trying to figure out how to get pics off the phone and onto the pc. :banghead: :banghead: Microsoft must be in charge of this feature 'cause it is fubar.
I carry my phone in my back pocket and beat the sheet out of it. My Razr has survived the best. The LG clone of the razr suks - it is a pussy metro sexual kinda phone.
Meanwhile I got old and now my eyes are going. So I keep looking for a phone where you can set the display to "BIG FUGGIN TEXT SIZE". Some models do, some don't - most only change some display size but not all. So I can see a BIG PHONE # but a really small contact info.
So if they have better features on the Razr now then I'm going back to it or at least use it as the role model.

I use a Blackberry, myself. Gives me Wifi when I need it, texting is simple, but the main reason is I love the automatic upload/download to my home computers of all my phone numbers, addresses, contacts and any data in the phone as soon as i get home! ( A feature i did NOT turn on and use on my last one, turned this new one on a few minutes ago.......... ;D)
So yeah, Lost a lot of you guys numbers. If you wanna PM them back to me, that'd be cool. If you don't, I understand........... :'(

I couldn't agree more, my G1 has been through the ringer to boot, still haven't had to call cust. svc or send it in for replacement. Great phone.

Absolutely I use my phone everyday out in the field...I do rebar for a living and this phone keeps kicking...even working on stuff I'm laying on it and what not and besides some accidental butt dialing that's all

I have the G1 as well. First phone that I haven't wanted to throw out the window daily. The T-Mobile service is nowhere near as good as my old Sprint service but is better than my Verizon work phone (I have the motorolla Q9 stay as far as possible away from that). I have finally come to the realization thats it not "whats the best phone and service" its "which phone and service suck the least"
that my buck 2 fifty.
