Title: Cheap headers on eBay

Just wandering if anyone has tried these cheap thru transom headers that are on eBay ? Just looking for some feedback.

I haven't (I'm not thru-transom) but is there any sort of guarantee or something? What's the return policy of that company?

I've heard horror stories of flanges not matching. Cheap does not equal good.

Bad chrome, bad welds, bad fit, thin flanges and on it goes.   There are so many areas that could give problems down the road that I wouldn't even think about a set of these.  American made exhaust has gotten stupid expensive but our companies know what works and what corners not to cut.  A marine exhaust is a pretty harsh environment, I think it is money well spent to look for quality above all else in this area.

Thanks for the input. I would only buy Bassett. I was amazed on how hard there pushing them on eBay.

Stay away from those headers!
