And by no means am I trying to hold our own tpm. When we got the word from the higher ups that tpm was no go this year we decided to just meet up. So please no one accuse me of trying to plan tpm. I've already had a few accusations and I wasn't fortunate enough to get meet the great man let alone plan a memorial.

I swear... some folks just LOOK for reasons to get their panties all in a bunch.
I'm going for no other reason as it has become a tradition... I like spending a winter day hanging out with boat folks drinking a beer or two... and perhaps tell or hear a story or two of a guy that helped me out more than once at the track and used to know him before only as Vic's buddy that used to come down to the river in Yuma once or twice a year and raise hell at the desert yacht conpound until the wee hours.
So... no matter what ANYONE ELSE is doing... that is what I'm doing.
