Who here smokes cigars? Either regularly or just now and then.
I have recently found myself enjoying a cigar every couple of weeks. Normally I just walk into a place and see what the best seller is, however I ran across this website that offers a monthly "club" for $30 a month they send you 5 cigars that they have selected. It has me interested because I have idea what I'm doing or what I like when it comes to selecting a "good" cigar.
Does anyone do this? Or has in the past?
Also I've been looking into the next step and purchasing a humidor. Any recommendations? Or anyone have one lying around taking up space?

My boss said guys have wood boxes traditional but he has a poly box that he swears by. Has a real good seal pop top lid like brew Growler
Macanudo, Avo Aurturo Feuante, Good starters mild
Flavored: Flavored Acid, Tatiana.
Hope this helps they are about 10-20 bux Each.

To touch on the box again they need to be seasoned every so often so my boss prefers his pol/plastic box. Seals like a Mason Jar.

Great deals here www.cigarmonster.com

I have a humidor that seals super good. You have to use distilled water and gelatin crystals to hold the humidity. When the box is kept at the correct humidity it swells the wood and creates a good seal.i personally like mild cigars like a rocky patel ,olivia, monte cristo,Arturo fuente or something in a connecticut wrap.

Yup forgot Monte cristo thats what I got started on

Here's my humidor when i got it .i need to get it going and stocked again since summer is coming. I tend to smoke more when its warm.and man does a wood humidor smell good.

That is one good looking box, I've been looking at couple small ones 20-40 cigars style with a glass top is what I'm leaning towards.

Those samplers look nice, so many different kinds in one. And they give you multiple for the same that's cool. Yeah the couple monthly websites I found don't have a reorder area, so I'm thinking a sampler is a better choice.

I'd get a digital meter for humidor ... Cigars are a acquired taste and depends on you. Maybe find a local shop for cigars. I mainly smoke Cubans but there is a local company in Temple City http://m.yelp.com/biz/mursuli-cigars-temple-city ... He rolled for my wedding. Father of the place use to be the factory Manager for Cohiba in Cuba. Good place, prices and staff!
