I second this.....20 or so new members in the last week and only 3 or 4 of them have posted anything.

I haven't been home since my first post, Been busy and went to the casino for New Years won 580.00 and got layed. I hope the rest of the year goes just as well ;D :o I hope you all had a awesome time also ;D

its a 16ft. 68' cheeta with a 455 olds. this is my first one i dont do boats i fab things like roll bars, bumpers. ect.  so this is a whole new world. i need an air scoop, and how to route all of the water hoses.

Those are some cool little boats . Do you have exhaust logs or over transome hearders.

i have over transome headers. MSD remote oil cooler/filter, i am making my own oil pan unless you have one, made my own seats i would like a place diverter also.  i am taking pics as i go so i will post them asap.  like i said its a different world them i am use to.

Just signed up to the site . It is cool to see other people with the same interest in boats as me. I Just recently bought my first jet boat. It is a 1979 charger miniday cruiser 19ft. with a 460 and a berkely jet. I have been out to blythe in it and lake mead since i am in vegas so it is close. I love my boat. If i could figure out how to post pics i would. sorry.   Todd

The log plumbing to me seems a bit more complicated and I'll tell ya , that diagram comes in real handy.

I am New to the Board. I run a 1974 Eliminator Mini DayCruiser. it is 21ft but they clasify it as 23 because of the swim deck. The boat is in the shop having a Legend pump with stainless a impeller put it. I am moving the motor back 11 inches and putting on upgraded intake hardware,droop,and divertor. I am running a bbc with a tweak here and there. Not the fastest in the world but I am shooting for 75mph on a Daycruiser. Not a drag boat but a damn respectable family boat.

well iam a newbie and i found this site just  looking  for boats and found that this site is very kool i have friends that live by medesto ca. that have jet boats and i finaly broke down and bought one its very kool to see all the other jetboats that are on this web site mine aint much once it gets to be a little nicer out side i will be able to start putting better pics up of my boat but in the mean time i watch this web site and look at all the kool pics that every one else has taking by the way i live north up by the border of canada and this web site is very kooool :) :) thanks

Why do I get an error message that tells me to debug whenever I change screens? What is a screen? I am soooo confused......    TIMINATOR

To post up your avitar, click profile near the top, then... under modify profile information click forum profile information, then... click I will upload my own picture, then... click browse, hopefully you know from there.

If your trying to post a picture in one the forum section, click reply, then... click additional options (to the left of post/preview), then... click browse, hopefully you know from there.

the rogers hasnt even begun....trying to get kyles wriedt done first.....i think we are going to go into crunch mode and try to get the wriedt done for the Avi event in july.

the boat is FAR from being done, but we are going to try our best to knock it out.

Brad: I know you folks in Foothill like to think you're your own city, but that is the City of Lake Forest, community of Foothill Ranch; LF annexed Foothill years ago :-)
BTW, my budget is more the problem than my needs; I can compromise on the needs.
Looking into a boat now; will keep you posted.

BeerJ: Yeah, I got the PM and am looking at that Hondo; have this other one check first; thanks man!

Got to go back to the front yard now; neighborhood yard sale today and I have that Jet Ski and parts spread around in the yard just in case a skier drives by that needs parts. Have to pack it back up now because my kids have a beach party today and I'm about to make them late.

I dont have a problem seeing brad pinch a big ass loaf in someone front yard . I do it all the time . Steamers are my specialty  ;D

Yo my name is Nate. I'm a recovering boat-aholic (sp?). I lurk here from time to time. Mainly to see what projects people are working on and to see what events are taking place. I am boatless at the moment. My plan is to save up some serious coin this year with the hopes of buying myself a real kick ass CP, TX-19, Gullwing hull for my Christmas present to myself. just anothe rnewbe , in south louisiana. have a 79 eliminator . been a 6 year project :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:  started it , got married bought forclosed house that was a pos so boat was on hold till house go dun now the fun can resume ;D 468 chebby being built . will post pics soon.
 

this is a great site for all jet boaters,, i still have alot to learn bout these :o  but with this site i think i can ;D

 thanks guys,   hopefully i can get on the water before summer ends. i have to get to hammond la where the boat is right now to get pics so hopefully i can get pics soon ,getting transom and stringers replaced everything was rotten :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: so now will be good for a few years ;D  aftr that i have to give tom at JBP  a call with a shopping list ;D  good for me but the wife  :banghead:  have 2 get new  intake the guy doing the work completely destroyed the original  getting it out  so one problem at a time :mad:

I just joined. Have found all of the information exchanged on the forum to be very helpful.  I am a new owner of a 1989 20ft Commander/BBC/Berk that I bought last month.   Had it out once this season.  Seems to be relatively strong.  First jet boat I have owned so I am trying to learn as much as possible. I live in Yuma and I have been a PWC rider from Hidden Shores up to Walters Camp.  As I get older, the Commander made more since I needed a little more room for my wife and dog.  We mostly go out Sunday afternoons or during the week.  Since it looks like dune season is about over, I expect to be enjoying the river on a regular basis very soon.  Look forward to seeing any lower river boaters out there. Also look forward to the expertise provided on the forum.   Take care
