just curious Mr. Emanon performance marine... What is the benefit of having your valve cover breathers routed to your collectors?

its an evacuation system that maintain negative crankcase pressure throughout the rpm range, increasing piston ring seal, and reducing intake charge contamination.

I have seen 25 - 30 hp on a Cup engine and about 15hp on a BBF in the 550hp - 620hp.

nice ill think ill try that tonight when i get home...suck that power right out the exhaust..and i was going to put a blower on it!!!!

You mean an air pump on your block to creat negative pressure, make sure you don't suck all the oil out your motor.

do you have any documentation of those HP gains with the breathers going to the headers? If so I'm doing that tomorrow. 40HP is arguably more than you get just by slapping headers on...
