I will tell you this, today all you had to do was not spin and not break, IMO the hard part...
Nothing personal fellas, you did a lot better than I could have.. ;)

GT Jets is right....its not all about being fast. I was the fastest boat out there on the drop of the green, but i was havin troubles gettin it to turn comfortably...took my turns wide and slow saturday then got a bit too cocky sunday and got bit.
Harold Bruce is proof of this too...from what i recall, he didnt have a ton of HP...just had the boat dialed in to turn on rails around the pins in long beach.
i would say going fast down the straights is only 20% of the race. all pole position changes will be due to mistakes in turns or mechanical failures, not so much getting blown by in the straights. a ton of HP does help tho ;)

You can store the interior in my boat, then I have an 8 gal. poly, top fill fuel cel to trade, and I'll build you an aluminum rail system for the cel and the battery for a nominal fee ;)
Hey this could work out pretty good >:D
In all seriousness, get a written copy of the rules, not for what you can do, but what you can't, most of the questions will answer themselves, just beware of those "open to enterpritation" things...
