A friend just sent this too me ...way cool
In case your interested they use Nikon 35mm's and NIkon Digitals with mostly Nikor lenses, they are all very seriously customized for use in a space environment. Also in the shuttle is a pair of 2.25 x 2.25 Hassalbad large format film cameras as well, they are only used 'Inside' either the shuttle or ISS. These cameras are so customized, that they automatically enter and write to the film or digital image, for every image, information determining exactly what position the camera is pointed at, along with the exact time of day (they do not appear on the image). That feature allows them to seam different pictures together to make a larger composite images.
How these people get anything done out there with this view is way over my head.
