Title: Copper spray-a-gasket help

Hi I am new on this so I don't know if I am doing it right but I am having a problem with my motor I have water in the oil and I used this copper spray, could this be putting water in the oil? I need help.  Thank u.

No.

You have something else going on. The copper coat will only help IMHO

I scanned through your posting history and determined that you have a 454 BBC, and recently changed to a tunnel ram intake manifold.  If all of this is correct and the water/oil problem started recently I'd say you didn't get the intake manifold sealed completely at one of the water passages. 

Or... you can give us some more info to allow us to give you some more input.

Good luck and hope you get it solved before the upcoming outing.

This will be my third time cleaning the motor and taking it out of the boat. The motor was running fine all last year and then I wanted a cam in it so I got one and ever since then I have water in the oil. I was told by someone that I could have a blown head gasket but it never got hot and it is new and then I was told to is I have to be putting to much water in the motor and I need to turn down the value for the water, if u understand that. Lol. Yes it is a 454 bbc.

My oil was more white and sticky foamy stuff. Lol. I have header with water and a Edelbrock manifold.

I'm willing to bet your getting reversion because of the new cam. I completely stopped running water through my headers for this reason.

I bet you didn't seal around the water passages at the intake/cylinder head very good and with the water pressure being too high, you got clam chowder.

I don't have any water going to the headers last trip out.
