Title: Craigslist Sellers
Post by: SoCalPSD on April 26, 2012, 06:55:10 AM
I know of 3-4 guys in the San Berdino / highland area that deal used boat parts. I have met Dan (boatsalvage) and delt with him prior to knowing his history on here but other than being alittle off he wasn't a bad guy. But anyone heard of or delt with the Earnie guy ?

Oh yah I read all that after I got my hull from him and was weirded out but about a day or so later he called me up telling me he found the rub rails and some other stuff for it and told me to come get it and handed it to me for free. Like I said I know of his history and I don't think ill be dealing with him again but he didn't do wrong by me. Wasn't running him down but wasn't reccomending him either. Like it was said he's got tender toes and a bit of a drinking issue so things get outta hand fast in his head.

I bought my hondo from ernie and my seats from mouser lol. Ernie is a little pricey sometimes but mouser is a real cool guy. Only thing that sucked was I didn't know it was him until after I was home with the seats.

From what I understand he's just a regular guy with a love for boats. He picks up parts just to pass em along

mouzer is in corona and is a straight shooter!

ernie is a guy in san berdo, and you need to watch out for him
for example.
has a bunch of parts and tells you what you want to hear. but you better know what you are looking for, bolt patterns, sizes, etc.
because he may have what you are looking for but it wont fit, most of his stuff is junk too!

just my .02

Its pretty funny, my friend just tried to buy two pumps off of this boat salvage guy and offered him like $100 below what he is asking and got a crazy paragraph long email about how he wasted his time and he will scrap em just like his boat trailers before he does that blah blah blah crazy ramblings blah blah blah.  Song remains the same
