have your headers coated?and if you do how derable is it ,any blueing chiping or fadeing.Iam taking mine this weekend to caps brite hot coatings{www.capsbhc.com}they quoted me 330.to do them and will deliver them back to me.

I am having mine done by embee coatings as we speak. Everything I have heard is positive about it. Also coppercoating the inside is the way to go , so Ive heard.

yeah embee is a chill place...i just dropped off my TR and bassetts, and he quoted me 250 for the headers tho...im sure im still getting a decent deal...the guys name is jeff i think.

I got mine done at embee....they did the copper inside too. they are now as good as new.

I FOUND A DIFFERENT SHOP IN SACRAMENTO THEY TOLD ME 250 TO DO THEM.DROPED THEM OFF TODAY AFTER WORK THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO. I WOULD HAVE PAID WAY TO MUCH TO GET THEM DONE IF IT WAS NOT FOR YOU ALL

You might be suprised, by the time you ship both ways your gonna be right back up there again$$$$$$
Headers are heavy and odd shaped and they will rape you on shipping cost now with the new increase.... just something to think about............. i need to get mine done tooo but i only have to ship them about 200 miles, so it wont be that bad ;)

Call up ABF freight and tell them you want to throw something in one of their trucks coming to southern california. That's just crazy. I'll see if I can get an official price quote for you so you can present the company with it and tell them they're crazy. I can't believe how much they're charging. Is rent higher up there than it is here in So Cal?

Supply and demand. There just isnt any competion for them (that I know of) I might look up Portland and see what they have down there. No tax and it's only about a 3 hour drive. Now that I know what some of you are paying I'm not gonna bite on $350+.

That's a bit ridiculous. Whatever help I can offer you, I'll try my damndest. If you'd like a written quote, I'll try to do that for you. That's crazy 350. I just got a quote to do the entire tower on my boat for $200!!!!!!
