Snow ski?  Local SoCal mtns are gonna get snow in the next few days. Anybody wanna go to Summit?

ive been snowboarding for about 15 years .......i still got the old school banana board i started out on....i brag about the length of time i have been going, but dont take that as that i am any good at it.....cuz i am not a pro by any means....actually, i suck.

when are you thinking of going? weekend or week day?

I used to be a big snow skiier in the single days before kids; got too expensive to keep it up since now have to buy 5 tickets (+ the incidentals); I wish I could join you, I miss; in fact, snow boards had just recently come on the scene toward the end of the days when I skied.
My wife and I were double black diamond skiers; my wife was graceful on most any hill; I'd ski most any hill but it wasn't so pretty.

Right now the weather report is making the weekend look good.  I prefer midweek but it is going to be windy it looks like.  We had been planning on going to Utah but it is nearly 0 degrees  :o AND windy there too.  I was just trying to see if there was any interest here in putting a trip together some time this season.  Modern resorts have nice decks made for drinking beer on just like at the river.

We always go to Sunrise...Alia likes making me look bad....Thought I was a good skiier 'til I went with her... :-[

Ralphs has a killer deal if you want to ski Snow Valley on the cheap!  Buy 8 "Vitamin Water", for about a buck each, and get a free mid-week ticket to Snow Valley.  I rarely go to Snow Valley but after it dumped snow this last week it could be a helluva deal.  Enjoy!

I'll definately check into that.  SV is a waste of time for me but the wife is teaching the kids to ski this winter so for that its perfect and she has all week off.  Thanks for the heads up.
