Title: Don't you hate when?????
Post by: Blue on April 10, 2008, 09:38:17 PM
So I am in the home stretch with my boat. I have about 4K left to put into it.
(Gauges, plumbing, misc. parts, assembly etc.) Then I find a nice complete turn key boat on CL for $3900 that I have been looking for from day 1. It is not the actaul boat I am looking for but close enough to buy it and call it done.

Well he has reciepts and if his cam is like mine the dates are off. That was just 1 example I have found quite a few boats lately that are really nice for good deals.

Its called Hot Rod building. Unless its a 69SS Camaro or anything like wise ur gonna spend the $$$$ and bendover and take it when you sell it. I have about 17K in my boat and parts and I bet it wont pull 10K if I tried to sell it. Hell I bet it wouldn't bring 8K. Now if I took all the parts out and sold it all seperate I would make a ton more. Just the economics of anything hi-performance.
