I'm not sure the "Sprint" was made that early. The oldest I've seen is a 78(I have an 80). Many people mistakenly refer to the 18 Bubbledeck as a "Sprint", and I've seen those from as early as 75.

Eliminator sprint has some of the cleanest lines on their hulls,just my o2.

Very similar Ron they both look good they must be rare boats not to many out there.

My brother in law had an Eclipse and we had a friend that had a Sprint. The Eclipse had a little more duck tail in the rear deck as a splash guard and at the rear the side of the hull does not go straight up. It goes out and then up creating a line down the side.

Dennis may have splashed the deck from the Sprint with a few modifications and mated it to his bottom.

Carrera , Eliminator , and I want to say Daytona splashed that boat .
I read on HB some years back that the boat does really well as a outboard but is kind of squirly with a jet .
Not the best jet out there
They are runners though and sexy as hell .

According to Greg Shoemaker, the true "Sprint" was an 18 foot bubble beck bottom (stretched one foot) with a Beismeyer deck.  I realy like that Beismeyer deck, SEXY !!!!  ;D

Other than the foredeck, the Eliminator Sprint and the Daytona Sprint are two totally different hulls. The Daytona Sprint is much narrower at the rear than the Eliminator. The Daytona Sprint was layed up by Sundown Marine from molds aquired from Beismeyer.

As for the similarity between the Carrera and the Eliminator, I can only tell that they appear to share the Beismeyer foredeck. The Carrera is substantially deeper than the Eliminator, and quite possibly longer.

My recolection is the worst .
I do remember seeing a couple diffrent boats , the Eliminator Sprint included, that were identical .
I saw one at elsinore that wasnt an Eliminator yet was identical.

Thanks for the info guys met up with a guy at the TPM that had a clean one that really caught my eyes,any body have some good pics to post haven't found any good ones.

He came up on me when we were leaving the papp deal and throw his roost up. We took off across the lake and I hung with him no problem at 80% throttle. I dont know if he was wide open but you should have seen the look on his face when he looked over his shoulder and we were right there.
I'm still taking it easy on the fresh motor.

He probably didn't think he needed any nos. He was just racing an old scool jet boat.

The yellow boat runs mide 80's i ran with him but got spanked had carb and timing problems wounld'nt make more then 4500 rpm's @ 70 mph now i'm at 5600 rpms no gps at that rpm starter quit on me.

I just picked up one about a month ago it is a 77'. I know that if you check craigslist in the La,  Inland Empire there is a 1980 Eliminator Sprint for sale with a 429 ford motor. Here is a link to the same boat but different site.
