AVI parking, secure or not?

We are coming down from Northern California for Horsepower fest in November, bringing the jet boat. With all the stories I have read about the tweekers in Bullhead and vicinity, how safe is the parking situation?

Its pretty secure. The Avi security has cameras in the parking lot and actively monitor it. Also they close/lock the gates from 10pm to 6am in the boat parking lot which is on the south side of the hotel. Especially on event weekends, there is a lot of like-minded jet boaters looking out for each other and keeping an eye on the lot.

Nothing is foolproof, but it’s about as good as parking lot security can get. Fenced in lot with a gate and guard. During the 10pm-6am, you just call the desk and they send out a guard if you need to get in or out. The only thing more secure would be sleeping in your boat.

very secure, like everyone else said! My friends and I go to AVI every year around June and we have never had any issues with our cars nor boats, its a fenced location and the ramp to the water/river is only a few hundred feet away from it! have fun, you'll love it there!
