We're going to Fisher's tomorrow and head up river to the sand bar by the "no ski" buoys. Maybe see some of you out there!!!
-
marc will be there. He's in a brown and tan boat ;D
-
Not going out till Sunday afterall. Bunch of drama getting stuff together for trip  plus the wind is worse than forcasted  can't go tomorrow (Sue's son's birthday ;D) So we're going to go Sunday. Hopefully wind will be better by then.

Had a blast Sunday. My son got to go tubing for the first time. Got some cool pics of that, plus a buddy from work showed up with his boat so I got to go tubing too. Had to take it real slow because of the back, but it was nice to get wet. I think I saw Marc leaving as we were going past YPG. Do you have a Ford truck? Anyway, I can't wait for the lower river get together!!!
-
I saw you heading in around 11:30. Yes I have a black ford truck , and there was a blue gmc behind me towing a flatty.
-
yep, saw the flatty. speaking of flatty's, there is a really nice one that comes out Sunday afternoons. He cruises by at like 60-70 and sounds like its idling lol. it has a chromed fiberglass scoop on it and really sweet paint job. anyway, one of these days I'll make it down to where you park have a beer or two with you.
-
The flatty you are talking about is a hondo and the scoop is sheet metal , but looks like one of the fiberglass ones. He lives in yuma , and is going twin turbo at the end of the month.
-
I'd like to get ahold of him and find out if he'd sell me the scoop!!!
-
His name is PJ and he lives in town there. Next time you see him flag him down.
-
I'll have to do that!!! I want that scoop!!!
-
He said he paid $400 for it!
-
wow, that's pretty pricey. But I guess its not too bad.
-
It's aluminum!
-
Okay, called my jet dude and turns out he's related. Anyway, he's going to find out where he got it since he will be re-using it with the turbos.
-
Yeah , The dudes going twin turbo 440!! That boat is gonna haul ass!!!!!!
-
440 ? as in Mopar?
-
If he's going Mopar I bet he is going bigger than 440 >:D
-
No I talked to him he said twin turbo 440 mopar.

The 440 pistons are pretty durable esp on turbo motors. They have a really tall compression height, which makes for a very durable and stable piston.
