seriously, this guy is an idiot....look for a thread called "sunk the boat" over on hotboat.
long story short.....the guy lost a steering cable and spun it out at Piru....water came over the back and sunk it.
he went onto hotboat asking for help....he got a ton of money and a bunch of people offered their free help....even certified divers, he never went to go get it.....pretty much ran off with everyones money.
the county got involved and went to pull the boat, but couldnt find it.
it is questionable as to if the boat ever sank or not...the guy is full of shit.
he is now accusing people on hotboat that they pulled it and restored it and its out there.
reguardless of everything said above - he abondoned the boat, he lost any legal right to ownership so he cant even claim someone stole it.
