Greetings SCJB! I am new to the jet boat  scene but I've been checking out this forum for quite some time totally creeping! Here's my story...my stepdad gave me his 75 omega 19' mini day cruiser I believe a few years ago. About 5 years ago it ran great and we took it out often until the bearing between the motor and the jet went out so he parked it and let it soak under the sun in the hi desert for a few years until he offered it to give it to me which I could not pass up. So he recently bought another jet boat that we took out a few times this past summer and it's got me all fired up to wrench on this one. Here's my dilemma, I don't know a whole lot about this boat and we have a family get together in Laughlin with a few other boats in 2 weeks and I would love to bring this one. I recently got the motor fired up and it runs pretty good for sitting for such a long time but still needs a lot of loose ends tightened up. I'm looking for any and all advice/assistance on getting this thing going in 2 weeks to bring to Laughlin. I'm not looking to have the best float on the water by any means, all
I am doing right now is simply trying to "polish the turd" to bring it for one weekend. I'll post pics and hopefully this post will help me out. Thanks everyone and any advice will help good or bad!

Depending on how bad ur pump is I have a wj jacuzzi in good order out of a Glencoe for cheap

Alright so maybe I have this all wrong. It might not be the bearing that went out. It is the part that connects the jet to the motor that went bad. If you look closely at the pictures you can see it's missing. I have all the pieces I'll try and post them later. Like I said any help is great for me good or bad.

I realize the driveline is missing. What I'm concerned about is the bearing cap on the pump. I believe it should be sitting flat against the housing. The gap I pointed to is what makes me think it's loose and may need to be looked at.

Ok so as I look more into this project of mine you were right, the bearing cap was out of place because that was the bearing that went out in the first place and why the boat was parked. That's why the driveline is off as well. So It looks like I will need to replace the bearing and get new u joints and reinstall the driveshaft. Any other recommendations? This website has been very helpful so I want to thank all of you for your support!

Another issue I have is I'm missing one of these caps on the water side of the motor. First off what are these caps called? And second where can I get one and third...does the motor need to come out to replace it?

Ok guys so here's my update status as of now. I removed the pump from the boat and started tearing the pump apart. What I think happened was the thrust bearing went out and the whole thing shifted cracking/breaking every vane on the impeller and taking a few small chunks out of the suction housing basically destroying it all! So I picked up another used jacuzzi pump for $250 and we'll go round 2! I've already got the rebuild kit in the mail so we'll see how this pump treats me. I want to thank you all once again for your help/support throughout my project. I probably would not be this far without this forum! I'll
