Title: Foward reverse cable
Post by: Tomale 1 on June 14, 2015, 07:24:10 PM
Well I hit some bad times, and I'm wasting my summer without my boat, and it blows donkey ballz. So what I'm asking is does anyone have a used forward/reverse cable they'd like to sell? I need a 192"

I have an extra one if someone knows a way to get a sticky one moving again. I sat for a day spraying wd40 down it while hanging from a ladder. Only helped a little.

Personally Tamale 1 when it comes to throttle, steering or forward reverse cables I always replace with NEW cables.
The extra money you spend for a new versus used is up to you.
What is the price you are willing to save for the safety of you and your family.
I have given away and given good prices to fellow boaters on many items that I no longer have the need for, such as carbs, intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds, quality pieces.
Used cables could be a crap shoot.
Just my honest opinion.
I'm not rich but if you truly can't afford a new cable I am willing to help you out.
Give me a call and I will help you out with the purchase a new cable.
Feel free to give me a call.

Only solutions here...

1. Remove reverse bucket.

2. Go boating
