Title: Fun with black car today in Bullhead AZ area. Current reading at 11am.

Curious to see just how hot its gets. Might get a temp probe and throw inside car.

I am a somewhat of a silent geek so I research something. Skin starts to burn at 130*F, eggs start to coagulate at 158*F, the lady that sued McDonalds had her coffee measure 200*F and she got 3rd degree burns, and yea water boils at 212*F.

I knew water boiled at around 200* depending on elevation.

Interesting...car temp same at 1:00pm. BUT...I checked one of my service trucks that's been sitting all day and its hood measured 130*F at its hottest spot.
NOTE to self: never buy boat with black anything.
Wish I had a sheet of aluminum that was natural, polished and one painted white-to see how different temps would be. My guess is polished would be hottest. Just thinking of fuel temps on boat from sitting on lake all afternoon. Cooler fuel is denser so....hmm
Kudos to previous owner of my boat for installing white seats and white steering wheel.
