Title: gas level sending unit
Post by: 76NORDIC on April 10, 2008, 06:03:19 PM
Question..... I bought a fuel sending unit from the guys at CP a while ago. Finally going to put it in when I noticed that it looks like it was made for a flat rectangular tank, I have the 10 gal cylinder (long) tanks. Its a 12" unit which is no prob cause I know you can cut it to fit. The prob being getting it to seal, being the tank is rounded, not flat. When I ordered it I could of sworn that I told them that but I cant remember being that its been so long. Is there a trick to mounting this or did I get the wrong one? :banghead:    Mark

They only show up when someone lists some prices, then they have to barge in with their slightly higher pricing and the accompanying rants about how their products are better, etc. etc. With no real proof or reference to racers who are succesfully using the product. I'm sorry guys but concept and theory is good, what the racers are using, is better. What they don't let you know is CP owns berkeley now-a-days, if you haven't noticed they really haven't done much in the way of R&D on their berkeley pumps.

Lake and river hot rodding, JBP is the one stop shop.

As far as I've seen, the heavy hitters are all on Aggressor. Then again I have some reasons to be biased.

I'm sure someone from CP will be yelling about this shortly...

I have spent quite a bit of money with CP, but thats the only place I knew of, until I have been here. JBP definately sounds like the goto place!!!! Been talkin to Josh about a hyd pd steering switch, and basically told me to wait cause he was workin on something, i thought that was real cool  :) Anywhoos Tom what is a proper day, time to call you?    Mark

Sorry for the hostile takeover 76. I don't mean to be an ass hole but this group of retailers in particular have been a little less than helpful unless you feel the need to empty your wallet.
