is thier any end in sight ?
-
end in sight yeah it is the bottom of my wallet, this is what i now spend on fuel per month for one truck a 2005 silverado crew cab 1500 (not a 4wheel drive) 4200.00 which is about 150.00 per day cash try that out it what i have to do to stay in business   :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:
-
ive parked my 2 diesel trucks for now we were almost spending as much as you were so it it gonna end ? anyone hear anything
-
I have heard a possible $200 oil by the end of the year. If that happens, we are in deep because with gas around $5.00 and current oil at around $125 to $130 per bbl can you imagine gas per gal with $200 oil ??? It has to go down. The problem is with our govt. If they were to let us drill, we still cannot refine. If they let us drill and refine, it would IMO take years, if ever, for us to become independent of imported oil.

The estimation was 10 years to be able to drill and refine our own oil......

-
Pretty soon your gonna see people parkin there big trucks and buying some old used beat up mini trucks just because of better gas mileage......

we need to go to these coutries that are hosing us on oil and say f-u we have helped you in the past and given you aide and money when needed, now we are taking the f'n oil as payment. if you don't like go f*** a camel

im feeling ya brothers....im sending my big tow pig to service on monday for some more warranty stuff, and will start to drive my civic hatch showcar again, even though its a turbo car i spend about 45 a week instead of a 120 for my diesel, just got to do it...i think its time for a clear bra, to keep those nasty rock chips off it!!
-
One of my customers just put one of those fitch fuel catalyst systems on his truck. He said he gained 3 miles per gallon on the highway! He is driving a 1996 dodge 2500 gasoline 4 wheel drive pickup with the 5.9 liter motor in it and he drives to phoenix from san diego every week so I imagine he knows his gas milage pretty well. My truck is getting one as soon as they have the one for my truck back in stock. They work on gas and diesel fuel.
-
Hey Chrome I need a clear bra on the Vette and the hood of my truck. My brother is an exec for Bondo (3M), maybe we can hook that up. Time to break out the Harley for me.
-
im ready , let do this

And where will we be in 5 years? If we don't drill, in 5 years gas will be 10 bucks a gallon or more, then the excuse will be, but it will take years!

Now *that's* Forked up! ;D
I agree! Let's start with Mexico - they have plenty of oil, and we have plenty of thier citizens.
I have no problem taking over another country to get their oil - But where's my OIL???

Exactly,
IMO I think that it is a strategic game that the govt is playing, meaning the US will be the last man standing after the rest of the world's oil has been consumed. Before it is all said and done, you will be able to look off the coast of CA and see nothing but platforms.

they are putting a taco stand on every corner so i think its only fair that we drill on every acre ;)

they/we will have the oil and no one will need it by then ???

Anyone ever wonder why politicians are being assasinated in mexico ?
The people need to speak . More importantly , we need to make sure the government is listening and maybe carry a bigger stick than they are .

I had a Honda Civic while I was in school and I wish I would have never sold it :banghead:
-
Im just waiting for the day people start rioting and stealing gas. Its outta control. Our govt. is full of old farts with no balls to step up to other countries. I wonder how much all those Arabs over there pay for gas?

Cool it on the running a car on water... There are no calories in water, no energy to burn... unless these snake oil salesmen can show that they can separate Hydrogen from oxygen without using more power than you could ever get from the resulting gasses they should be arrested for fraud. If we had developed solar cells for home heating and power as we could have fifty years ago we would not have this issue today. Personally I'm looking into an electric car for day to day driving leaving 80% of my fuel budget to get to the races.

Saudi Arabia Riyadh $0.91
Kuwait Kuwait City $0.78
Egypt Cairo $0.65
Nigeria Lagos $0.38
Venezuela Caracas $0.12
From this web site:
http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/global_gasprices/
Saudi Minimum wage is about 8.65 Saudi riyals or 2.33 US Dollars
US Federal Minimum wage is $5.85 (Federal level to compare apples to apples)
So, we make 250% more on minimum wage than Saudi people BUT currently pay about 500% more than they do for fuel

The wage info came from wiki.com

I don't see the govt temporarily reducing the $.50+ in fuel taxes they charge us for each gallon of fuel. If we were able to start getting oil from our own resources, it would drive the price of foreign oil down to acceptable levels. Don't get me started on the "tree huggers", they got half the dunes closed for some stupid weed. Now the weed is dying because there are no duners helping spread it around lol. I also saw a pic of tire tracks in the dunes with a caption that says it will take hundreds of years for the tracks to go away. Yeah okay, anyone who has seen the dunes in a sand storm knows those tracks are gone in 30 minutes!!! They really piss me off.

Someone asked him two months ago how much gas was... he answered $2.50 gal. :banghead:
Ask all your friends who are voting for hope and change "what is Obama's plan to help us?" Pelosi promised us two years ago that now that the Party of Donkeys was in charge that they would ease the price at the pump to help the working man. How's that goin' Nancy? What part of the plan are you implementing now, huh???
No new drilling. No new refineries. No new incentives for bio-diesel or hydrogen research. The only move has been to disrupt the third world's food supply because we are now using food (corn) to make a fuel that nobody wants.
BUT gays can now marry and we are selliing some of our best nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia and China because they are stable, staunch allies of ours who always come to our aid. McCain ain't much but he's all we got right now.
-
Thats funny you bring that up John . Saudi Arabia and China are the 2 countries that financially have us by the balls

Yeah kinda makes a neat little "end of life on Earth" scenario don't it? I cannot believe so few people are even just a little bit alarmed. Actually it is probably our own capitalistic greed that will bring us down first luckily (fewer people will die that way). The founding fathers put in the small print on the early Republic that Capitalism will only work if the people are moral and directed with inner goodness in the decisions that they make. You can see every day what happens when people are only in it for themselves i.e. mortgage scandal. A lot of diff peeps had to overlook a lot of stuff day after day for it to get to where it did, but look at the result when greed was the motivating factor in everyday life.
I am so glad to know that China and Saudi have the same culture rooted in Christian goodness that I was brought up in. It will help me sleep at night I'm sure, knowing that global warming is my biggest fear.
Now excuse me while I go back to digging my bong, I mean BOMB shelter :banghead:

I just noticed that we have E85 out here now...$3.67 a gallon. At first i thought they lowered the unleaded price, so i had to check again..........NOPE!!!
